Earlier this week, the Pakistani government had agreed to allow the transport of Indian humanitarian relief material to the famine struck state of Afghanistan through its territory, however they have recently placed conditions for the same.

According to officials it is learnt that Pakistan will allow the 50,000 tonnes of wheat and lifesaving medicines from India to pass through given that Pakistani trucks are used to transport the material from the Wagah border, as opposed to Indian transport.
