Peace in border areas critical to maintain relations — India to China
Wang visited National Security Advisor Ajit Doval earlier in the day after arriving from Kabul on an unannounced visit.
During a three-hour meeting between visiting Chinese Minister Wang Yi and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, the two countries reviewed the border situation as well as Beijing's pro-Pakistan stance.
Jaishankar noted that progress has been achieved in resolving issues in various friction areas along the LAC, and that their meeting was focused on keeping the momentum going in the remaining areas.
