This will be the first meet inperson between the heads of both of the countries after the UK Prime Minister had cancelled his visit to India twice owing to the pandemic earlier this year.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Glasgow yesterday evening after concluding his three-day visit to Rome for the G-20 Summit as part of the European tour to attend the 26th Conference of the COP26 (Oct. 31 to Nov.) which is expected to be the World’s biggest climate summit focusing primarily on the Economic revival and sustainability.

The Indian Prime Minister was warmly greeted by a large group of Indian diaspora who sang patriotic songs and chanted ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ upon arrival.
