Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the ‘Statue of Equality’ commemorating the 11th century Vaishnavite Saint Ramanujacharya in Hyderabad on Saturday.

The 216 feet tall statue is one of the world’s tallest metallic statues in a seated position and was constructed using panchaloha — an alloy made of the five metals gold, silver, copper, brass, and zinc.
