PM Modi launches 5G test bed
The testbed was built at a cost of roughly INR220 crore. It was created as a multi-institute collaboration initiative by eight institutes lead by IIT Madras.

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the country's first 5G test bed at the silver jubilee celebrations of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).
