Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday launched the Indian Space Association (ISpA) via video conference. Speaking on the occasion, PM said, " Scientists of India have made huge achievements in these decades, but the need of the hour is that there should be no restriction on Indian talent, whether it is in the public or private sector."
The Prime Minister remarked the Government's approach to space reform being based on 4 vital pillars. “ First is the freedom of innovation to the private sector. Second, the role of government as an enabler. Third, preparing youth for the future. And fourth, to see the space sector as a resource for the progress of the common man", Prime Minister's Office said in a statement.
