Promises to help new Indian students at ‘meet and greet’ event

The Consulate General of India in New York organized a ‘meet & greet’ event in association with GOPIO-Manhattan, a chapter of the Global Organization of People of Indian Origin (GOPIO), for new Indian students joining universities in the US.

Ambassador Taranjit Singh Sandhu, Ambassador of India to the United States, welcoming the students from India.

Students from 21 universities, mostly from the Northeast, participated in person or virtually.
