Propelled from Karnataka to NASA - Indian American space engineer shares her story

US Consulate Chennai will be inviting speakers from various fields among the Indian diaspora in America to share their journey and experiences as a part of the Diaspora Diplomacy series.

Indian American Aerospace Engineer Dr. Swati Mohan also the Perseverance Mars rover mission commentator, guidance, navigation, and controls operations Lead, was the debutant speaker for the Diaspora Diplomacy series event organised by the US consulate in India to promote US-India relations on 28th July, 2021.

The series highlights Indian American personalities who have made significant contributions to the US in business, academic, innovation, arts, health and science sectors. Throughout the series the speakers will take about their journeys and share their experiences as an Indian American in the United States.
