Prospective Indian students find Italian logistics difficult due to the pandemic

Indian students opt for Italian universities because of scholarship opportunities and affordability. Currently, there are around 200,000 Indian students studying in Italy. Globally, the pandemic has affected various sectors, especially the education sector.

Talking exclusively to Indian Star, Lincy Hepsiba, an Indian student studying Italian Food and Wine in University of Padua, Italy explained the difficulties Indian students face while visa processing and other logistics during the pandemic. She said that the first year students are actually the ones stranded back home and are unable to come to Italy to attend classes.
