PV Sindhu's coach leaves for Korea to treat a back injury

PV Sindhu, a five-time medalist at the World Championships, will not be competing in the upcoming BWF World Championships.

The two-time Olympic medalist and recently-crowned Commonwealth Games champion PV Sindhu’s coach Park Tae Sang announced that he’s going to his home country to receive medical attention for a back injury.

Soon after PV Sindhu announced that she won’t be participating in the upcoming World Badminton Championships (also known as BWF World Championships) owing to a stress fracture injury, her coach also decided to go back to Korea. He said that he will be taking this time to treat the back injury he suffered during this year’s Commonwealth Games.
