Qantas to operate direct flights between Sydney and Bengaluru
The agreement proposed by Qantas would ensure that passengers can transit comfortably from Bengaluru, Delhi, or Singapore onto IndiGo services to other major Indian cities as well as smaller ones such as Pune and Goa.
Australian national airline Qantas will be the first airline to offer nonstop flights between Australia and southern India.
It will operate four weekly nonstop return flights between Sydney’s Kingsford Smith International Airport and Bengaluru’s Kempegowda Airport from Sept. 14, 2022, using its widebody Airbus A330 aircraft. This will cut almost three hours off Sydney’s current fastest travel time to Bengaluru.
