Road to Ram Janmabhoomi to be named after Kalyan Singh

Singh was the governor of Rajasthan from Sept. 1997 to Nov. 1999, as well as the state's chief minister from June 1991 to Dec. 1992. Singh also held a number of organizational positions in the BJP, both at the state and national levels.

The road leading to Ayodhya's Ram Janmabhoomi complex is named after the senior BJP Leader, Kalyan Singh. Keshav Prasad Maurya, deputy chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, announced on Monday.

Maurya tweet translated “One road each will be named after Babu, Ram Bhakt Late kalyan singh, by the Public Works Department in Ayodhya, Aligarh, Etah, Bulandshahr and Prayagraj. Babu gave up power for Ram Mandir but did not fire at kar sevaks ! Instructions to the officers to submit the proposal soon!”
