Rolls-Royce India president awarded for refined India-UK trade
Alongside Rolls-Royce, Mr Jayaraman has been serving as a board member of the UK-India Business Council, helping UK businesses set-up in India.
Rolls-Royce president for the India and South Asia branch, Kishore Jayaraman, was awarded with the Order of the British Empire (OBE) by Elizabeth II on Monday, May23. Through this award, Jayaraman’s service to international trade and investment was acknowledged, as part of promoting the India-UK trade.
After receiving the news, he said, “It is a privilege and a responsibility to be bestowed with this honour. I believe this recognition will further reinforce for the industry a greater sense of purpose in accelerating efforts for co-innovation and collaboration between the two great nations.”
Rolls-Royce India congratulated him on twitter alongside the UK’s Trade Commissioner for South Asia, Alan Gemmell.
