Royal Indian thrones on display at Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art
In 1969, the thrones were shipped to Europe by a former King of Dungarpur.

A special exhibition titled, Silver Splendor: Conserving the Royal Thrones of Dungarpur, India, is currently ongoing at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, Missouri.
The exhibition that began on May 21, displays a collection of conserved ornate silver pieces belonging to historical times in Indian history. A video documenting the years long conservation process that went into preserving some of the artifacts can be viewed by visitors.
