Ruchira Kamboj to be next Ambassador of India to UN
Kamboj created history, when she was appointed India's Chief of Protocol in 2011, as the only women to hold that position.
The Indian Ministry of External Affairs announced the appointment of Ruchira Kamboj as the next Ambassador or Permanent Representative of India to the United Nations at New York.
Presently the Ambassador of India to Bhutan, Kambhoj will succeed the retiring T S Tirumurti in New York shortly , the Ministry said in a statement.
