SAFA participates in honouring AAPI Veterans at Arlington National Cemetery

The annual event included a ceremonial wreath-laying at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier which was dedicated to AAPI fallen service members

Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) fallen service members and veterans were honored by an alliance of Asian American Pacific Islander groups at Arlington National Cemetery on June 26.This ceremony took place after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic.

South Asians For America (SAFA), a national, grassroots organization dedicated to the education, advocacy, engagement, and mobilization of the South Asian Democratic community in the United States, was a partner organization for the event.
