An Indian American couple from Berkeley, California are stranded in Kolkata after United Airlines announced last week it would indefinitely cancel the San Francisco-Delhi and Newark-Mumbai routes, two nonstop services which fly in Russian airspace.
In an email to Indian Star, a United Airlines spokesperson said: “We look forward to restoring service to these destinations and others as soon as feasible.”
