The incentives of up Rs 120 crore will be given for the next three years. This amount is 1.5 times the combined size of the drone manufacturing sector, says Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya Scindia

The government of India, as part of the collective vision initiated under Atmanirbhar Bharat by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is set to provide additional incentives to drone and drone component manufacturers starting from the Fiscal year 2021-22.

The incentives are expected to boost the Indian drone industry to a turnover of up to ₹15,000 crore by 2026.
