Senior Diplomat Sibi George gets appointed as the new Indian Ambassador to Japan

Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) released a statement on Monday, announcing that senior diplomat Sibi George has been chosen to serve as the next Indian Ambassador to Japan.

George, an Indian Foreign Service officer (IFS) from the 1993 batch, serves as India's Ambassador to Kuwait at the moment. As India's representative to Japan, he will replace Sanjay Kumar Verma's post. According to the statement, George is anticipated to start the job soon.
