SpiceJet flight makes emergency landing upon detecting smoke within the aircraft

There was a similar occurrence on an aircraft from Patna to Delhi on June 19.

A SpiceJet flight that flew from Delhi to Jabalpur on Saturday observed smoke inside the aircraft. According to the airline spokesperson, smoke was seen inside the jet when it reached 5000 ft.  However, the SpiceJet plane eventually made a safe return to Delhi airport.

The SG-2862 flight, which departed from Delhi for Jabalpur at 6:15 am, arrived back at the Delhi airport at 7:00 am. This is the second time in two weeks that a SpiceJet aircraft has had a fire.
