Sri Lanka to resume flights from Jaffna to India from July

Siripala de Silva noted that the current runway can only support 75-seater planes and plans to improve it through India’s support and assistance.

Sri Lanka is to resume flights to India from the northern Jaffna peninsula this following month, according to Sri Lankan former Cabinet Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva.

According to the minister, this measure will improve the country's tourism industry and ease the economic crisis.
