Sri Lankan Finance Minister calls on Prime Minister
According to a statement, Modi and Rajapaksa addressed a wide variety of bilateral concerns, including agriculture, renewable energy, tourism, and fisheries.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed to Sri Lankan Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa that India will always stand with the Island nation as a close friendly and neighbour.
During his visit to India, Rajapaksa met with Modi and thanked him for all of India's assistance to Sri Lanka during this "critical time."
