As the Board of Control for Cricket in India has previously seen cases of players turning up with false positive results, it decided on conducting a second test early Wednesday. All players in the franchise were informed to isolate themselves in their rooms till the results were out.

As per a statement, six more members of the Hyderabad team who have been in close contact with Natarajan have been isolated. It includes all-rounder Vijay Shankar, team manager Vijay Kumar, physio Shyam Sundar J, doctor Anjana Vannan, logistics manager Tushar Khedkar and net bowler Periyasamy Ganesan.
