Taliban expresses gratitude to India for its medical assistance

In the next few weeks, India plans to send out more humanitarian aid batches to Afghanistan

India on Friday delivered two tones of lifesaving medicine to Afghanistan who is going through a severe humanitarian crisis following the regime change in August last year. Supplies have been delivered to Indira Gandhi Hospital in Kabul

The medicines were routed through Dubai as there are currently no direct flights between India and Afghanistan. The aid was handed over to the World Health Organization (WHO)
