Tamil Nadu CM requests PM to hold bilateral discussions with neighboring countries
The Sri Lankan Navy is holding 41 Indian fishermen and six fishing boats


On Sunday, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister (CM) M K Stalin wrote a letter requesting Prime Minister Narendra Modi to have bilateral discussions with the neighboring countries to resolve the vexing problem and free 41 fishermen and their boats.
This happened after Sri Lanka detained 12 Indian fishermen on Sunday. "Such occurrences are occurring with worrying frequency, bringing significant grief to the people of Tamil Nadu," CM Stalin said in a letter to the Prime Minister.
