The Ministry of Home Affairs has restored Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity's registration under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act after the organization "submitted necessary documents" to use the Center's services.

MHA sources said on Jan. 8 that "Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity, a Catholic religious congregation set up by Nobel laureate Mother Teresa, was restored on Jan. 7," The MHA refused to renew Mother Teresa NGO's FCRA license on Dec. 25 last year, citing "adverse inputs."
