The Kerala police suspects the possibility of many more people being trapped in West Asian countries after three women from Kerala recently escaped from a human trafficking network in Kuwait.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Sunday questioned the three women after they had made a complaint on the tormentor. The women said that their capturers often mentioned the names of terrorist groups in Islamic State-controlled areas and had threatened to take the women there if they protested or informed family members.
