The model of the fighter jet, Dassault MD. 454 Mystère IV installed at the Hindon elevated road has become a popular selfie spot for passersby.

This transonic fighter plane built by Dassault Aviation of France was inducted in Indian Airforce in 1957. India purchased 104 numbers of Aircraft and these bombers were highly effective in low level ground attacks on enemy.

The phasing out of the aircraft started soon after the 1965 Indo-Pakistani War, though it saw further action in the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, it was completely phased out of the Indian Air Force by 1973. Mystères participated in the 1961 Goa operation and wars of 1965 and 1971, till phased out in 1973.
