Scene at the famous Lal Kuan market which sale and supplies substantial portion of Kite sale in Old Delhi on Saturday. 

Independence Day is just not complete without colorful kites dotting the Delhi sky and when it comes to scoring the best, there is no place better than Lal Kuan in Chandni Chowk. The moment one comes out of the Chawri Bazaar metro station and head towards Lal Kuan, you can spot thousands of colorful kites just brightening up the entire lane.

From street stalls to large walk-in shops, almost every other shop in the lane sells variety of kites, ranging between INR 5 to  INR 300. They are all made and sold here. One can find kites of every size & color one can possibly think of.
