Top US official talks to Shringala on Ukraine crisis
The conversation between US deputy secretary of state Wendy Sherman and Indian Foreign Secretary Harsh Shringala comes a day after the White House warned that Russia could launch an attack on Ukraine at any given point in time

Wendy Sherman, US Deputy Secretary of State, spoke with India's Foreign Secretary Harsh V Shringala via teleconference on Wednesday about a wide range of global and bilateral issues. The pivotal discussion, however, centered on Russia's military build up along Ukraine's border.
In addition, The United States briefed India on several global and regional issues, including the COVID-19 pandemic, vaccine rollout, humanitarian issues in Afghanistan and Myanmar, and the recent terror attacks in the United Arab Emirates.
