Kerala imposes a mandatory seven-day quarantine only on visitors arriving from countries at risk of exposure to the new coronavirus variant, Omicron.

Passengers arriving in Kerala from Botswana, South Africa, Hong Kong, Brazil, Bangladesh, China, Mauritius, New Zealand, Zimbabwe, Singapore, and Israel will be subjected to strict screening. Passengers who have visited these countries will also face a seven-day quarantine in the state, according to reports.
