The UK Planning inspectorate recently granted a charity organization, named Anoopam Mission, the permission to build a Hindu crematorium on a ‘greenbelt’ land with appropriate landscape and biodiversity enhancements in Denham, Buckinghamshire.

In their petition, that was signed by over 2000 members, the organization highlighted the need for a new crematorium as the existing crematoria lack in dining and parking spaces and are inefficient in catering to the Hindu community in the area.
