In honour of India's 75th anniversary of independence, The United Kingdom has announced a collaboration with top Indian companies that would provide 75 fully funded scholarships for Indian students to study in the UK beginning in September.

One of the programmes available is the Chevening Scholarship for a One-Year Master's Program, which allows students to choose any subject to study at a UK university. In addition, the British Council in India is providing about 18 STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) scholarships for women, covering more than 12,000 courses at over 150 UK universities.
