Ukraine crisis: Indian embassy to resume operation in Kyiv

In light of the rapidly deteriorating security situation in the war-torn country, the Indian Embassy in Ukraine was temporarily transferred to Warsaw, Poland, on March 13.

The Indian Embassy in Ukraine will return to the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv on Tuesday, May 17, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced on Friday. The embassy was temporarily transferred to Poland during Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

“The Indian Embassy in Ukraine, which was temporarily operating out of Warsaw (Poland), would be resuming its operation in Kyiv w.e.f. 17 May 2022,” the MEA said.
