Under emergency procurement, Indian Army buys 100 swarm drones

The Indian Army has partnered with Newspace Research and Technologies, a Bengaluru-based startup, to deliver 100 swarm drones in a $15 million deal under emergency procurement.

Ajay Kumar, Defence Secretary of India tweeted: “Congrats Additional Directorate General of Public Information and New Space. India becomes one of the few countries where the armed forces have domestic swarm drones.”
