Rajeev Chandrashekhar, Union Minister of State for Electronics & Technology, has said that India is currently one of the leading nations to deliver indigenous 5G technology. In addition, the Minister stated that India will use a 5G network that is designed and constructed in India.

With equipment built in India, the latest generation 5G network would be made available to the public, according to Chandrashekhar, marking an important milestone for the country. He said that Reliance Jio's 4G rollout set a record for speed, scope, and social effect and that Jio is now poised to take the lead in India's 5G technology market, which the company has already declared.
