United Arab Emirates lifts the embargo on transit passenger flights from India

The National Emergency and Crisis Management Authority (NCEMA) declared August 5, 2021, from Thursday onwards, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) shall relax the ban on transit passenger travel from India, Pakistan, and Nigeria, and other nations.

On account of the coronavirus pandemic, the UAE, a key international travel hub, barred travelers from numerous South Asian and African nations for several months. Etihad Airways, Emirates, and other UAE carriers flydubai and Air Arabia (AIRA.DU) have significant markets in India and Pakistan.
