Students who enroll in these Chinese universities this academic year would most certainly have to attend lessons online in the near future, and purely online medical degrees are not recognized in India

India's top medical education authority cautioned students against enrolling in Chinese universities on Tuesday, as the nation continues to ban the entry of foreign students due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The National Medical Commission (NMC) issued the warning after receiving information from India's external affairs ministry that some Chinese medical universities were accepting applications for admission to MBBS programs for the current and upcoming academic years despite China's ban on foreign students from entering china.
