Australia to explore opportunities in Assam
The Australian government has decided to implement a number of the recommendations made in the India Economic Strategy, an independent study to the government.
Australia's High Commissioner to India, Barry O'Farrell AO is visiting Assam to explore opportunities for Australia's enhanced linkages with North East India under their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP).
The CSP is built on shared ideals of democracy and the rule of law and mutual understanding, trust, and similar interests. It demonstrates India and Australia's strong commitment to effective global collaboration in the face of serious challenges.
