The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) has extended its temple doors to the people of Ukraine as tensions rise in the country. At the request of the Indian Embassy, members of the society have started a large food assistance initiative in Hungary to give fresh food and drinks to the students returning home.
They provided fresh food and water to stranded Indian nationals who had traveled into Hungary from Ukraine. "Our @ISKCON devotees in Hungary have started huge food relief for the students & other Ukraine refugees coming to Hungary. Indian Embassy in Hungary has sought ISKCON'S help to provide food & water to the refugee influx from Ukraine," Radharamn Das, the Vice president of ISKCON tweeted.
