High Commissioner (HC) of India to the UK, Gaitri Issar Kumar held discussion with the director general, Tim Davie, of UK’s national broadcaster, British Broadcasting Service (BBC) on Wednesday, June 1.

Dr. Kumar briefed Davie on prime minister Narendra Modi’s initiatives over the next eight years with reference to the India-UK 2030 Roadmap. They also analyzed the “wide and robust” network of BBC services in India at the India House in London.

Sharing the details from the meeting, the High Commission said that the two considered the outline of the “innovative governance, present state of India-UK relations, road map to 2030, robust trade, and eco partnership.”
