India is a pivotal QUAD partner for the United States, says top US official
“The fact is that we are a partner of India now. We are a partner of India when it comes to shared interests when it comes to the values we share in a free and open Indo-Pacific.” State Department spokesperson Ned Price said.
US has called India a vital partner for the US in the QUAD in realizing the shared objective of a free and open Indo-Pacific region. Regardless of past connections between India and Russia, the United States is currently India's "preferred partner."
According to State Department spokesperson Ned Price, the Indo-Pacific is at the center of QUAD's policy, and India plays a critical role in realizing this common vision.
