Harshal Patel hit the winning runs, by hitting a massive six, pulling it well from the cow corner. With that, RCB registered their second win of this season, scoring 173 runs in 19.1 overs. Dinesh Karthick was awarded the man of the match.

After securing back to back wins, Rajasthan Royals (RR) were ready to take on on Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to register their third win for the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). However, RCB won by 4 wickets and 5 balls.
RCB who won the toss chose to bowl and restricted RR to a score of 169. The team bowled extremely well, except in the last few overs when the dew on the pitch was heavy. On the other hand, it wasn’t a great start for RCB batters, as five major wickets, Faf du Plessis, Anuj Rawat, Virat Kohli, David Willey and Sharefane Rutherford were taken before 11 overs with 104 runs remaining to win the game.
