Indian origin students from Rutgers University-New Brunswickalong chosen as Goldwater Scholars

Two Indian-origin students are among the four students from Rutgers University-New Brunswickalong named as Goldwater Scholars for their achievements in mathematics, science, and engineering.

“These outstanding individuals — Eesh Gupta, Sohaib Hassan, Andrew Schwartz and Julia Shneidman — will surely make a great difference for the world in whatever careers they choose,” said Francine Conway, Chancellor-Provost of Rutgers-New Brunswick. “Their selection as Goldwater Scholars is a tremendous accomplishment for each of these students, and for our institution as a whole,” she added.
