On September 20, Governor Greg Abbot appointed seven doctors to the Texas Medical Board. Jayaram Naidu, MD was reappointed along with Michael Cokinos, Kandace Farmer, DO, LuAnn Morgan, and Sherif Zaafran, MD.

The newly appointed Board members were Ada Booth, MD and Ebony Todd. The Texas Medical Board for terms expiring on April 13, 2027.
