Murderous pharaoh and Aditya Nair

Aditya Nair has been awarded the "Africa Geographic Photographer of the year 2021" for capturing a murderous pharaoh, narrating the ‘essence of Africa.’ He captured the image of a cheetah with blood all over its face in the Maasai Mara National Reserve. The photograph was well received.

Aditya Nair, a wildlife photographer, claims that his journey “starts with documenting our planet’s wildlife.” He was born in Trivandrum, Kerala. He grew up with his parents in Mombasa, Kenya. During his childhood, he spent most of the time experiencing African savanna. He studied marketing at the University of Sydney. His passion for wildlife photography improved when he returned from Australia. He returned home, to Kenya, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
