Satyendra Nath Bose, an Indian scientist and mathematician, was tributes by Google on Saturday for his contribution to the Bose-Einstein Condensate. On the same day, June 4, 1924, he delivered his quantum formulations to Albert Einstein, who instantly recognized it as a key quantum mechanics breakthrough.

The Indian government honored Bose's outstanding contributions to physics by bestowing the Padma Vibhushan, the country's highest civilian honor. He was also named National Professor, India's highest accolade for academics. Satyendra Nath Bose's rise to prominence began in academia.
