India, China to hold 16th round of Corps Commander-level talks

Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has said that talks are on to resolve the boundary issues between the two countries through discussions involving their military commanders and diplomats.

India and China will be holding the 16th round of Corps Commander-level talks on July 17, 2022. The Indian side will be represented by the Indian 'Fire and Fury Corps' Commander Lieutenant General Anindya Sengupta.

The meeting aims to discuss disengagement from friction points along the Line of Actual Control in Eastern Ladakh. A similar meeting was previously held on March 11.
