Indian Oil Corporation to give INR 50 crore for Cheetah relocation from Africa

The National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) on Tuesday had signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) for the trans-continental relocation of cheetahs from Africa to India.

According to the MoU, the IOC will contribute INR 50.22 crore over four years for the project. The total cost of the project is currently INR 75 crore.
