"A door-to-door campaign was held too. It is a matter of devotion and that is being toyed with. The pieces of land of Dalits, which could not have been purchased, were grabbed," Gandhi said.
Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi demanded the Supreme Court intervene in an alleged land 'scam' in Ayodhya involving local MLAs and families of state government officials on Thursday, a day after the Uttar Pradesh government announced an investigation into the matter.
Gandhi further characterized the investigation into the Ayodhya land 'scam' in the location of the proposed Ram temple as an "eyewash."
